**As of April 8 2025, the project was awarded to JM Construction, with an awarded amount of $293,318.62.** Reference Number: 0000375540 The project consists of approximately removing and replacing 599 lft of 6" to 12" catch basin lines and concrete replacement, along with clean up and traffic control. Machines used for this project must be equipped with rubber tracks and/or rubber tires. No steel tracks may be used during the project. Question Deadline 02/24/2025 at 4:00 PM ET Questions are submitted online: No. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, money order or bid bond by a surety company licensed to do business in the State of Michigan in the amount of at least five (5%) percent of the amount bid, drawn payable to the City of Oak Park, Michigan, as security for the proper execution of the Contract. The successful bidder will be required to provide performance bonds, and payment bonds each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract amount, and a maintenance and guarantee bond in the amount of Fifty percent (50%) of the contract amount. The City of Oak Park, Michigan reserves the right to reject any and all bids in its sole discretion, in whole or in part, for any reason or for no reason at all. Any informalities or irregularities in bids may be waived by the City of Oak Park for any reason, or for no reason at all, in the sole discretion of the City. Bids may not be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the actual date of opening thereof. The bid guarantee of Bidders under consideration will be returned immediately after execution of the contract documents by the Owner; checks and money orders of Bidders not under consideration will normally be returned within forty-eight (48) hours after bid opening. The amount of the guarantee shall be forfeited to the Owner if the successful Bidder fails to enter into a contract and furnish the required bonds and insurance certificates within fifteen (15) days after award of the contract. The contractor understands that the term of this contract is for twelve (12) months, with an option to extend for an additional twelve (12) months, if mutually agreed to by the parties. The City shall have the right to not extend this contract for any reason or for no reason at all. The dates for completing the above mentioned work, as set forth in the contract, must be adhered to by the contractor, and any additional work will be scheduled by mutual agreement between the parties.
