Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
For furnishing all labor and materials necessary for the construction of: 20th Avenue Resurfacing all in accordance with specifications on file in the office of the Director of Public Works. The project includes select tree removal, sidewalk repairs, updating ADA ramps at intersections, curb and gutter replacement, driveway approach replacement, storm sewer repairs, milling existing asphalt surface, installing new asphalt pavement, parkway landscape restoration, signage and any other incidental items necessary to complete said work as shown on the plans and these specifications. Each bid must contain the full name of every person or company interested in the same and must be accompanied by a contract and bid bond, a certified check, or a bank cashier's check, in the sum of five per cent (5%) of the bid, payable to the City of Kenosha as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted, a contract will be entered into and its performance properly secured within fifteen (15) days of the award of contract. The contractor must comply with Davis-Bacon prevailing wages. The City of Kenosha reserves the right to reject any or all bids, or to accept any bid considered most advantageous to the City of Kenosha.
