Site work for a water / sewer project in Streamwood, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Exterior: High pressure water clean (5,000 to 10,000 psi) and spot power tool clean to a SSPC-SP11 standard. Apply a three (3) coat epoxy urethane fluoropolymer system. Wet Interior: Spot abrasive blast clean the coating failures on the access tube, overflow pipe, and center painter's railing on the roof to a SSPC-SP10 near-white metal standard. Apply a spot two (2) coat epoxy system. Dry Interior: Abrasive blast clean the entire tops of the top platform, the entire bowl, the entire access tube, and spot coating failures throughout to a SSPC-SP6 commercial standard. Apply a three (3) coat epoxy system to the access tube and bowl and a spot two (2) coat epoxy system to the rest of the prepared surfaces. Foundation: Water clean and apply a two (2) coat epoxy system. Mixer: Install a mechanical mixer. Repairs: 1) Replace the bowl manway gasket. 2) Install a gasket on the wet interior roof hatches. 3) Install handholds at the wet interior roof hatch. 4) Replace the mud valve. 5) Overflow discharge modification. 6) Install a wet interior ladder. 7) Install a roof painter's railing. 8) Replace the dry interior light bulbs.
