The Stream wood Park District invites qualified electrical contractors to bid on the following project: A. Project Identification: Hoosier Grove Farm stead Backup Generator 1. Project Location: Hoosier Grove Farm stead, 700 W. Irving Park Road, Stream wood, IL 60107. B. Project Description: 1. Project consists of the installation of a backup generator and all required electrical connections and installation related items at the Project Location. All labor, equipment, and installation costs necessary to complete the Project must be included in the bid price. C. Construction Schedule: 1. March 25, 2025 Park District Board to award contract. 2. Signed contract April 8, 2025. 3. April 28, 2025: Construction Starts. 4. June 27, 2025: Substantial Completion. 5. July 18, 2025: Final Completion D. Sealed bids must be submit ted in DUPLI CATE(original and copy) in an opaque sealed envelope marked "Stream wood Park District, Hoosier Farmstead Backup Generator." F. DO NOT MAIL BIDS. ALL BIDS MUST BE DELIVERED IN PERSON. Bidders are invited to be present at the bid opening. Late bid submittals will not be accepted or considered unless evidence is presented that the Park District was in possession of the bid prior to the bid opening date and inadvertently misplaced the bid while in the Park District's possession. The Park District is not responsible for the premature opening of bid envelopes that are not properly marked. Any bids opened prior to the scheduled opening due to bidder's failure to properly mark the envelope in accordance with the bid documents will be deemed nonresponsive and will not be considered. Bids may be opened if the Park District cannot ascertain the bidder's name and address from outside the envelope. All bids must comply with all requirements of the bid documents.
