The project will be completed under one prime contract: Contract No. 2023-5 - Elevator Improvements at Hazle Twins All Bidders must be registered on the A+E Group's Bidders List. A Bidder must obtain Contracting Documents from A+E Group to register the Bidder on the Bidders List. Each Bid when submitted must be accompanied by a Bid Security which shall not be less than ten (10%) percent of the amount of the Total Base Bid, a Non-Collusion Affidavit, and additional supplements as indicated in the Contracting Documents. The successful Bidder will be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond and a Labor and Material Payment Bond. Refer to other bidding requirements described in Instruction to Bidders. Bidders must submit their Bid on the Bid Form provided. Bidders shall not alter this form in anyway. Attention is called to the provisions for Equal Employment Opportunity and the payment of not less than the minimum salaries and wages as set forth in the Non Technical Specifications must be paid on the Project. All contractors and subcontractors will be required to adhere to Section-3 of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 as amended. The Housing Authority of the City of Hazleton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all Bids and to waive any informalities, irregularities, defects, errors or omissions in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of the Bids, without consent of the Housing Authority of the City of Hazleton.
