Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, oversight for the excavation, installation of ADA curb ramps, pavement restoration, and milling, overlay, base repairs, and pavement markings of the streets and corners as indicated on the Contract Drawings. A Performance Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. All Bidders must have active PENNDOT Prequalification's for both role and activity. Davis-Bacon Prevailing Wages shall apply to this contract. All bids received through PennBid will be opened online and referred to the City of Hazleton for final award at the next advertised meeting. An abstract of the bids received will be available to bidders on PennBid following the date and time that bids are due as indicated above. Questions may be submitted through PennBid's "Questions" tab on or before 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 2, 2020. Responses will be provided via PennBid to all registered parties. The City of Hazleton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
