Site work and paving for a road / highway in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
As of August 6, 2025 this project was awarded to American Asphalt Paving in the amount of $533,743.20 The work includes but is not limited to all labor, materials, tools, and oversight for mobilization/demobilization, removal and replacement of concrete curbs and sidewalks, roadway restoration, pavement markings, reset signage, topsoil and seeding, and maintenance and protection of traffic. Bids must be accompanied by a bid bond with a corporate surety authorized to do business in Pennsylvania, in accordance with the project specifications in the amount of 10% of the total bid amount. A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract shall be furnished by the successful bidder as detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. Prevailing Wage Rates shall apply to this contract. All Prime Contractor Bidders must be Prequalified. Questions may be submitted through online on or before 11:00 A.M. on July 14, 2025. Responses will be provided via online to all registered parties. The City of Hazleton is an Equal Opportunity Employer. Minority and women owned businesses are encouraged to submit proposals. The City of Hazleton reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids or portions or to waive any informalities in bidding and to withhold award for a period of sixty days.
