Project involves approximately 23,300 S.Y. of pavement pulverizing, shaping, and grading, approximately 19,700 S.Y. of pavement milling, approximately 1,500 L.F. of concrete curb and gutter replacement, reconstruction of curb ramps, roadway base patching, concrete sidewalk replacement, asphalt and concrete driveway removal and replacement, asphalt binder and surface course paving, utility structure adjustment and repairs, miscellaneous pavement patching, pavement markings, erosion control, traffic control, and sod restoration. A portion of this Work is part of a Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP) Project. All Work is included in a single prime contract. Each entity obtaining Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office will be designated as a Plan Holder of Record. Bids received from entities who are not Plan Holders of Record may be re turned as being nonresponsive. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to Village of Hartland at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to Village of Hartland equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to Village of Hartland as liquidated damages. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Hartland reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of Work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes.
