This project was awarded to Stark Pavement Corp. for the amount of $1,210,771.25 Project involves approximately 24,000 S.Y. of pavement pulverizing, shaping, and grading, approximately 4,900 S.Y. of pavement milling, approximately 890 S.Y. of asphalt trail repaving, approximately 1,000 L.F. of concrete curb and gutter replacement, reconstruction of 14 curb ramps, roadway base patching, concrete sidewalk replacements, asphalt and concrete driveway removal and replacement, asphalt binder and surface course paving, colored concrete placement, fiber reinforced concrete placement with decorative scoring, utility structure adjustments and repairs, pavement markings, erosion control, miscellaneous pavement patching, traffic control, and sod restoration. All work is included in a single prime contract. Bidding Documents, including Drawings and Specifications, may be examined at the offices of Village of Hartland and the Consulting Engineer during regular business hours. Digital project Bidding Documents are available online for a fee. Partial sets of Bidding Documents are not available. Each entity obtaining Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office will be designated as a Plan Holder of Record. Bids received from entities who are not Plan Holders of Record may be returned as being nonresponsive. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids must be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited as liquidated damages. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Hartland reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid or to reject any and all Bids.
