Project involves approximately 40,109 L.F. of road crack and joint routing, cleaning, and sealing in various locations throughout the Village, localized traffic control and street sweeping of work areas. Only seal flanges on roads indicated in the roads list. All work is included in a single prime contract. Construction time is of the essence. Completion delays are subject to liquidated damages. The Village of Hartland reserves the right to accept the most advantageous Bid, or to reject any and all Bids. Award of work described herein is subject to the provisions of the Wisconsin Statutes. Pre-qualification: Required. A Bidder's qualification statement must be delivered to the Village of Hartland at least 5 days before the Bid opening date. Bids shall be accompanied by a Bond or Certified Check payable to the Village of Hartland equal to 5 percent of the Bid. If the successful Bidder fails to execute the Contract and furnish payment and performance bonds within 15 days after the award, the Check or Bid Bond may be forfeited to the Village of Hartland as liquidated damages.
