Renovation of a municipal facility in Monona, Wisconsin. Working plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
As of February 21, 2024. No bids were received. Have plans for a rebid but no rebid date yet. Building Envelope Rehabilitation This project is being let using a single prime bidding and contracting process. The city will enter into a single contract with the lowest, qualified, responsible, general prime contractor and this general prime contractor will enter into subcontracts with their subcontractors. In general, the work consists of installation of rigid insulation between the existing standing seams, gypsum coverboard, and PVC membrane induction welded to mechanical fasteners. Roof related sheet metal shall be modified or replaced with new as necessary. Damaged sheet metal wall panels shall be replaced in-kind. All exterior doors shall be refurbished by stripping, priming and painting, and weather stripping and sealant replaced. Removal of existing canopy roof on north elevation and installation of new canopy roof shall occur. Bid Guarantee in the amount of 10% of the Bid must accompany each bid submitted.
