The project will consist of the milling and overlay of various roadways in the City of Meriden totaling approx. 7.75 miles in length. Refer to roadway list titled Citywide Paving Program Summer/Fall 2025 Roadway List included with this bid package for approximate limits of work. Labor and Material Payment Bond and a Performance bond for One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract price, with a corporate surety approved by the City of Meriden, will be required of the lowest responsible bidder. Bidders shall take note that a Bid Bond is required as part of their Bid submittal. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the amount of Ten Percent (10%) of the amount bid. The attention of bidders is call to the requirement for minimum wage rates to be paid under this contract.
