The Town of Stratford ("Town") is seeking competitive bids from qualified contractors with proven industry experience to provide labor, materials, tools, equipment, and all else necessary, to perform the work as delineated in the Contract Documents prepared by Snyder Architects, LLC, Trumbull, CT. 1. Project is paid for in part or whole by the State of Connecticut funds provided by the Department of Administrative Services (DAS). 2. Contractors must comply with State Prevailing Fair Wage Provisions (for new construction projects over $1,000,000.00 and remodel/repair projects over $100,000.00 - C.G.S. 31-53(g)). 3. Contractor must comply with DAS Contractor Prequalification requirements, if applicable (over $1,00,000.00). 4. An Affirmative Action/Equal Opportunity Employer. AWARD OF BIDS Contracts and purchases will be made or entered into with the lowest responsible bidder meeting specifications, except as otherwise specified in the invitation. If more than one item is specified in the invitation, the Town of Stratford reserves the right to determine the low bidder on an individual basis or on the basis of all items included in the Invitation for Bids, unless otherwise expressed by the Town.
