Completed plans call for the renovation of a 10,000-square-foot educational facility; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; for site work for a water / sewer project; for the addition of a educational facility; for the demolition of a educational facility; and educational facility.

SCOPE. 10,000 Square Foot Addition and Renovations to Huffman Middle School. A Bid Bond payable to the Huffman ISD, for no less than 5% of the largest possible total (include the cost of alternates listed) for the proposal listed. Performance and Payment Bonds for one hundred percent (100%) of the construction cost will be required prior to beginning the work. This Project shall include a liquidated damages provision providing for liquidated damages for each calendar day of delay until the Work is substantially complete. The provisions will be set forth in the form of document provided at Attachment C. For this Project, the liquidated damages shall be stipulated as $500.00 per day. Actual construction on the Project projected to begin in May 2025. The project completion is expected in two phases, Phase I substantial completion is July 31, 2025. For Phase II (all other work) substantial completion is expected July 31, 2026. ESTIMATED PROJECT BUDGET. $ 9,360,000.
