City of Shawnee, Kansas (Owner) is requesting Bids for construction of the following Project: Project No. 3616 2025 Mill / Overlay, Curb, and Sidewalk Repair Program The Project includes the following Work: This project includes curb and gutter replacement, sidewalk replacement, full depth asphalt patching, pavement markings, and milling and asphalt overlay throughout the City. The Project has a duration of 125 days from Notice to Proceed to reach Substantial Completion and 150 days from Notice to Proceed reach Final Completion. The project will be considered Substantially Complete when all mill and overlay streets have been completed. The Owner anticipates the Notice to Proceed will be issued on approximately March 31, 2025. Each Bidder shall provide with their Bid a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check, in an amount not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. Bid security will be returned to the unsuccessful Bidders as indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. Clarifications or exceptions are not allowed on the Bid. Bids received after the time and date specified for receipt of Bids will not be considered. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. The Contract will be awarded by the Governing Body of the Owner at the complete and sole discretion of such Governing Body. Bidders will be able to review the Bid results via online after Bids are opened and will be notified of the bid results within fourteen (14) days of the date established for receipt of Bids. No Pre-Bid meeting will be held for this project.
