The Project consists of the replacement and/or lining of over 1,800 linear feet of aging and deteriorating Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) and structures in the general vicinity of: - - - Windsor Neighborhood: 69th Street and Richards Circle Windsor Neighborhood: 70th Street and Westgate Street Quivira Drive and Albervan Street Bids are requested for the following Contract: Windsor Neighborhood and Quivira Drive and Albervan Street CMP Replacement Projects City of Shawnee, Johnson County, Kansas City Project No. 3598 The Project has a duration of 100 days from Notice to Proceed to reach Substantial Completion (installation of all improvements, except sodding and/or permanent fences). The Owner anticipates the Notice to Proceed will be issued on approximately August 25, 2025. A winter suspension is anticipated from December 3, 2025 to March 1, 2025. During this time, placement of appropriate erosion control BMPs is required. The Project shall have a duration of 234 days from the Notice to Proceed to reach Final Completion. Each Bidder shall provide with their Bid a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check, in an amount not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. Bid security will be returned to the unsuccessful Bidders as indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. Clarifications or exceptions are not allowed on the Bid. Bids received after the time and date specified for receipt of Bids will not be considered. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. The Contract will be awarded by the Governing Body of the Owner at the complete and sole discretion of such Governing Body.
