Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The project consists of the complete reconstruction of approximately 2,200 feet of Local Street Improvements. Items of work will include demo of existing infrastructure, storm sewer improvements, grading, new full depth asphalt, driveways, sidewalks and ADA Ramps, bike lanes street lighting, utility coordination, and pavement markings. Engineering Consulting Firms must have an office within the Kansas City Metropolitan Area and be familiar with the City of Shawnee. Bidders will be notified of the results within fourteen (14) business days of the date set above to be received. The Contract shall be awarded by the Governing Body of the Owner at the sole and complete discretion of such Governing Body. The City of Shawnee reserves the right to reject any or all of the proposal submittals and to waive informalities or irregularities of the submittals.
