The Project includes the following Work: The Project willreplace approximately 155 linear feet of existing corrugated metal arch pipe with 8'x5' RCB under Monticello Road and install a new junction box. The city is pre-purchasing the RCB and junction box which will be available for delivery the 1 st week of July. Another contractor, SAK Construction, will be responsible for the Geopolymer Lining, the City anticipates that they will complete 430 LF of 454 LF of Geopolymer lining prior to July 1st. SAK will then return after the new 12'x4' Junction Box is installed at Sta "4+61" to finish the Geopolymer lining into the new structure. All work except for sod installation west of Monticello Road's east curbline must be completed prior to August 9th . The remaining work must be completed no later than September 26, 2025. The Project has a duration of 48 days from Notice to Proceed to reach Substantial Completion and 90 days from Notice to Proceed to reach Final Completion. The Owner anticipates the Notice to Proceed will be issued on approximately June 30, 2025. Each Bidder shall provide with their Bid a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check, in an amount not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. Bid security will be returned to the unsuccessful Bidders as indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. Owner reserves the right to reject any or all Bids. The Contract will be awarded by the Governing Body of the Owner at the complete and sole discretion of such Governing Body. Bidder shall submit all questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents to Engineer via the questions and response module in e-Builder. 7.03 Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda delivered via e-Builderto allregistered plan holders. Questionsreceived less than three days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
