The Project consists of the replacement of over 1,000 linear feet of aging and deteriorating Corrugated Metal Pipe (CMP) and structures at the following two locations: o Goddard Street and Shawnee Mission Parkway o 61st Street and Melrose Lane. The Project has a duration of 90 days from Notice to Proceed to reach Substantial Completion. The Owner anticipates the Notice to Proceed will be issued on or before August 25, 2025. Each Bidder shall provide with their Bid a bid bond, cashier's check, or certified check, in an amount not less than 5% of the total amount of the Bid. Bid security will be returned to the unsuccessful Bidders as indicated in the Instructions to Bidders. Clarifications or exceptions are not allowed on the Bid. Bids received after the time and date specified for receipt of Bids will not be considered. For all further requirements regarding Bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award, refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Event Bid Description: Bids are requested for the following Contract: Shawnee Mission Parkway & Goddard and 61st & Melrose CMP Replacement Project City of Shawnee, Johnson County, Kansas City Project No. 3601. Bids must be submitted online via e-Builder's electronic bidding system. Paper bids will not be accepted. Bidders will be able to review the Bid results via e-Builder after Bids are opened and will be notified of the bid results within fourteen (14) days of the date established for receipt of Bids. The Contract will be awarded by the Governing Body of the Owner at the complete and sole discretion of such Governing Body.
