The Town of Danville is requesting proposals for milling and overlaying several streets within the town. This project will be funded using the Community Crossings Grant issued by the State of Indiana Department of Transportation. Description Milling and overlaying will be conducted on Blake St. from 424' southeast of Lincoln St. to Tennessee St.; Cartersburg Rd. from 996' southeast of Lincoln St. to 424' Southeast of Lincoln St.; CR 100N from 1061' east of CR 300E to 2547' west of CR 450E; E> CR200S from Cartersburg Rd. to S CR 150E; Manchester Dr. from E CR 50N to Abbotsbury Dr; Marion St. from 20' west of Jefferson St. to Cross St (SR39); Tradition Ln. from Old Farm Rd. to Meadow Dr.; Waterford Way from Paddlebrook Dr. to cul-de-sac within the Town of Danville. Project Goals 1. Resurface designated streets identified as needing repair by the Town of Danville 2. Provide a smooth, safe surface for the travelling public. Scope of Work and Deliverables 1. Mobilize and Demobilize Operations 2. Provide full MUTCD approved traffic control for both milling and paving operations. 3. Mill asphalt at a depth of 2", at an estimated total of 25,336 sq. yds. 4. Haul asphalt millings to Hendricks County Highway Dept. at 930 E. Main St., Danville, IN. 5. Adjust any necessary castings to proper elevation. 6. Use HMA Base Mix from an INDOT approved plant to perform necessary deep repairs with an estimated total of 120 Tons. 7. Sweep milled areas post milling and prior to paving. 8. Apply Tack Coat to milled areas at a rate no less than .07 gallons per square yard, using approximately 1,777 gallons. 9. Pave streets at a depth of 2" using HMA from an INDOT approved plant at an approximate total of 2,738 Tons. 10. Provide compaction of asphalt in accordance with INDOT specifications
