The proposed construction will consist of: Roadway Curve Correction for CR 700 S And CR 525 E as more folly set forth in the Plans and Specifications. The work shall be performed in accordance with the provisions of this Notice, the General and Special Provisions, the Contract, and the Plans and Specifications for this project. The bld shall include the furnishing of all materials, equipment, and labor as indieated in the Specifications All bids shall be properly and completely executed on the forms as required by the Contract documents and will include the Non-Collusion Affidavit as required by the statutes ofthe State ofIndiana. Each bid shall be accompanied by the deposit of an acceptable certified check or cashier's cheek payable to the Board ofCommissioners of Hendricks County, Indiana or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the bidder and an approved surety company in an amount not less than ten percent (10%) ofthe total amount ofthe bid. The successful bidder will be required to fornish a performance bond with good and sufficient surety in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) ofthe total amount ofthe bid; a payment bond equal to one hundred percent (100%) ofthe total amount ofthe bid; a maintenance bond for a period of one (1) year after completion ofthe project equal to twenty percent (20%) ofthe bid; and proofofinsurance as specified in the General Provisions. No bidder may withdraw his bid for a period ofsixty (60) days after the opening ofthe bids. The Board ofCommissioners ofHendricks County reserves the right to reject any/or all ofthe bids and/or waive any formalities or irregularities in the bidding.
