*A Pre-Bid Meeting is scheduled for April 9, 2025, at 1:30pm local time at Danville Community Middle School, Main Entrance (1425 W Lincoln St, Danville, IN 46122). Park in the southwest parking lot. Following the meeting there will be a site walk-through (weather permitting). Bids received after that date and time set forth above, as determined, in the sole and complete discretion of Meyer Najem Construction, LLC, as Construction Manager as Constructor for Danville Community School Corporation (the "Construction Manager"), may be rejected, at the sole and complete discretion of the Construction Manager, and if rejected shall be returned unopened. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud shortly after the date and time set forth above. This invitation to bidders may not be read as a contract or other binding agreement between the Construction Manager and any bidder, and any and all costs incurred by any bidders will be at the bidder's sole cost and expense. All work for the complete construction of the Project shall be performed under the form of contract set forth in the Bidding Documents. Two copies of bid forms shall be submitted on forms provided in the project manual and shall be executed in accordance with the current edition of the Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96 - "Contractor's Bid for Public Works", with a financial statement complying with Section III of Form 96, and a satisfactory Bid Bond or certified check pursuant to I.C. 36-1-12-4.5, payable to the Construction Manager. Bid security shall be in the amount of not less than 5% of the total base bid price submitted by the bidder. Should a successful bidder withdraw its bid, fail to provide the required payment and performance bonds or execute the contract, the Construction Manager may then declare the bid security forfeited to the Construction Manager as liquidated damages. Any bid submitted by electronic mail or facsimile transmission shall be rejected. If a bidder uses the United States Postal Service or a local, regional or national courier service to deliver its bid, does so with the acknowledgment that such entity is acting as agent for such bidder, and the bidder's bid is not deemed to be received by the Construction Manager until it is delivered to the address set forth in the immediately following paragraph.
