The Project or Work consists of replacement of an existing 240VAC generator with a larger, 480VAC generator with support pad; replacement of 120V and 240V electrical panels; installation of a new transformer and automatic transferswitch; and construction of new ductbank. Also, complex construction sequencing and temporary power provisions are required to maintain continuous plant operation. The Project includes constructing the Work broadly described below, in accordance with the Contract Documents, with all related appurtenances. Work shown on the Drawings, or indicated in the Specifications, or indicated elsewhere in the Contract Documents is part of the Work, regardless of whether indicated below. The Work includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Demolition of existing 125 kW 240 VAC emergency generator. 2. Furnishing and installing of new 250 kW 480 VAC emergency generator and construction of new concrete equipment pad. 3. Furnishing and installing of additional new electrical equipment associated with the generator (480V-240V step down transformer, automatic transfer switch, and panelboards). 4. Construction of new electrical ductbank.
