Renovation of an educational facility in Little Ferry, New Jersey. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility; and two-story above grade educational facility.

Memorial School Unit Ventilator Replacements Project Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-26, in order to be eligible to submit a bid for the Project, the Bidder shall be classified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction ("DPMC") as of the date and time of the bid opening in one of the following disciplines: C032 - HVACR; or C008 - General Construction; or C009 - General Construction/Alterations and Additions Further, if the Bidder is not classified by the DPMC C030 - Plumbing, C032 - HVACR and/or C047 - Electrical, the Bidder shall be required to retain subcontractors that are DPMC classified C030, C032 and/or C047 (for those classifications bidder is not classified). The C030, C032 and/or C047 subcontractors shall be named in the bid and all required documents for the that subcontractors shall be provided within the time required by the bid documents and/or by law. Additionally, as of the date of the bid opening, if the bidder is not classified by the DPMC as C008 - General Construction or C009 - General Construction/Alterations and Additions (only one will be required), the bidder shall be required to retain a subcontractor that is so classified by the DPMC in one of those categories. The C008 or C009 subcontractor is not required to be listed in the bid. Bids shall be submitted on the provide proposal forms and be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check of bid bond draw to the order of the "Little Ferry Board of Education" for not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid, but in no case in excess of Twenty Thousand Dollars ($20,000.00). Bid securities shall comply with N.J.S.A. 18A:18A-24. Bids shall include a Consent of Surety obligating the issuing surety company to provide the bidder and its subcontractors, if successful, with a New Jersey Statutory Performance and Payment Bond for public works projects in the full amount of the contract. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the opening date. The Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids and/or waive any informality in the bidding, as permitted by law. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A. 10:5-31 et seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27. Pursuant to N.J.S.A. 34:11-56.50 et seq., Bidders and their subcontractors are required to be registered with the New Jersey Department of Labor as of the date of the bid opening.
