The City of Oroville (City) is advertising for proposals (Request for Proposals - "RFP") from qualified and experienced construction management firms to secure professional services to perform construction management, inspections, and coordinate material testing services during construction of the Hewitt Park Renovation Project. The Consultant shall conduct all work and perform all work and documentation to comply and follow the provisions of Chapter 15, "Advertise and Award Project", Chapter 16, "Administer Construction Contracts", and Chapter 17, "Project Completion", of Caltrans latest LAPM; Latest edition of Caltrans Construction Manual: and Latest edition of Caltrans Standard Plans and Specifications. The consultant shall also administer the project in accordance with the special provisions/conditions of the project. Hewitt Park is located at 2101 Baldwin Avenue, Oroville, CA 95965. The scope of work for the construction project will be renovation of existing park space with construction of new play areas and a hillside slide. Construction Plans proposing a mining themed splash pad, play structures, embankment slide, dog park, multi-use turf, pickleball courts, walking paths and fitness facilities, all surrounded by drought tolerant landscaping. The project has current environmental approval for the splash pad, as well as CEQA documentation. Splash pad and playground components have been procured in advance by the City, and are stored on City property. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
