General Description of Work: The project location is located at the Farmington School Complex at 212 Lightfoot Road, Farmington, IL 61531. Work consists of the installation of an irrigation system for the football field. All questions shall be directed to Shane Larson at slarson@hutchisoneng.com and received no later than Tuesday, March 4 at 12:00 PM. All questions shall be answered by issuing addenda no later than Wednesday, March 5 at 12:00 PM. Bid Security: Bids shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid forms, and must be accompanied by a satisfactory Bid Security and other documents as may be described in the Instruction to Bidders. Each Bid shall be accompanied by a certified or cashier's check payable to the Owner or a satisfactory Bid bond executed by the Bidder and a surety company, in an amount equal to not less five (5) percent of the Bidder's maximum Bid price as a guarantee that the Bidder will within fifteen (15) days after the date of the award of a contract execute a contract and contract bond and provide insurance certificate as required by the bidding documents if the Bid is accepted. No Bids shall be withdrawn after the opening of Bids without the consent of the Owner, for a period of sixty (60) days after the scheduled time of closing Bids. Prevailing Wage: The contractor to whom this award shall be made pursuant to this procurement shall be subject to all applicable to all Federal and State laws and regulations, including but not limited to the Illinois acts commonly known as the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act (IL Rev. Stat. Ch. 48, Secs. 2201-2207).
