Site work for a recreation facility in Saint Louis, Missouri. Conceptual plans call for site work for a recreation facility.
** As of March 14,2025, project is cancelled. Project is no longer needed.** Description: The Saint Louis Zoo's Facilities Management division is seeking proposals from qualified contractors to replace the Primate Canopy Trails climbing structure netting. Scope of work includes: 1. Chute 3B, Chute 3D including dead end, Chute 3C: Remove and replace all wear layer netting with 2.5" synthetic square mesh cargo net. 2. Climber Inclined Nets: Remove and replace two existing inclined cargo nets with 3" synthetic cargo net 3. Handrail Safety Netting: The Zoo is requesting a price per square foot as follows: a. Remove existing knotless netting below the handrail, b. Install a new connection point along the perimeter of the openings using stainless steel screw eyes and rope. c. Use new connection point to install new 2.5" synthetic square mesh cargo net. Note: Existing cargo netting is nailed and stapled into the black locust poles. Nails are typically 3"-4" apart along the black locust poles. Question Deadline 02/26/2025. All questions must be received by end of day for issuing of addendums. All emailed questions and answers will be shared with all responders. The source of the questions will remain anonymous. Addendums will be placed online. Any oral responses shall be unofficial and not binding on the Zoo
