Project includes repair and rehabilitation of concrete foundations and galvanized coatings for a pool slide structure. Concrete foundation repairs shall include removal and replacement of concrete to repair and extend corroded anchor rods, repair and patching of delaminated concrete, and replacement of anchor coatings and hardware. Other repairs shall include abrasive cleaning and new coatings on corroded floor plates, repair/replacement of miscellaneous steel components as identified in drawings, and cleaning and coating galvanized steel bolts and hardware. Major Components of the Work Include: 1 LS Anchorage Repairs - Tier 1: Concrete Removal and Patching at Top of Three Foundation Piers. Cut Corroded Anchor Rods and Provide New Rods to Extend. 1 LS Anchorage Repairs - Tier 2: Cleaning and Recoating Anchor Rods and Installation of Replacement Hardware. 1 LS Anchorage Repairs - Tier 3: Removal and patching of spalled and delaminated concrete at two piers. Apply new coatings on embedded plates. 1 LS Top Platform Repairs: Abrasive Cleaning, Spot Repair, and Recoating of top Platform Floor Plates. Install New Galvanized Reinforcement Channel and Replace Galvanized Bolts and Hardware at Top of Steel Column Platform Support. 1 LS General Repairs: Abrasive Cleaning and Recoating of Top and Bottom Surfaces of Floor Plates Throughout Slide Structure, Cleaning and Recoating Bolts and Hardware, Supplementing Welds on Existing Steel Brackets and Replacing Corroded Pipe Brackets. Bid security in the amount of 10 percent of the Bid must accompany each Bid in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. This Work shall be subject to minimum wages and Labor standards in accordance with the State of Wisconsin. The City of Whitehall reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities and informalities therein and to award the Contract in the best interests of the City.
