Renovation of a municipal facility in McArthur, Ohio. Completed plans call for the renovation of a 3,526-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check or cash, in the amount equal to Ten Percent (10%) of the total amount bid, or a bond for the full amount of the bid. A performance and payment bond will be required of the successful bidder in an amount equal to One Hundred Percent (100%) of the contract price. Upon failure to have substantial completion of the work completed by the date above-mentioned, the Contractor shall forfeit and pay, or cause to be paid, to the Vinton County Commissioners, for and as liquidated damages to be deducted from any payment due or to become due to the said Contract, the sum of $500.00 per day for each and every day thereafter that the said work remains in an unfinished condition. The total estimated Base Bid Cost of Construction is $630,940.00. The Vinton County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
