Site work and paving for a bridge / tunnel in McArthur, Ohio. Completed plans call for site work for a bridge / tunnel.
Furnish all design, labor, material, and equipment for the VIN-C.R. 24-03.30 Vinton Station Bridge Replacement. All bids must be a lump sum, submitted in writing on proposal blanks provided. Bidders must be Ohio Department of Transportation (ODOT) prequalified and possess a current Certificate of Qualification for the applicable work classifications. The prime contractor must be prequalified in specific ODOT Work Types and perform not less than 60% of the total original contract price. Subcontractors must also be prequalified with ODOT unless their work is 10% or less of the total bid. Each bidder must submit a Bid Guaranty as a guarantee to enter into a contract if successful. The Bid Guaranty must be either a bond for the full amount of the bid or a certified check, cashier's check, or letter of credit for 10% of the bid. Sealed bids must be addressed, marked for the project, and delivered on or before the specified date and time. The awarding entity reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive irregularities when advantageous, and select the lowest and best bid in their judgment.
