Site work and paving for a road / highway in Omega, Georgia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Scope of Work Includes: Fiscal Year 2024 Supplemental & 2025 Local Maintenance & Improvement Grant (LMIG) Leveling and Resurfacing Improvements to Powell Drive, Oak Street, Neal Street, and Florida Avenue Questions will be received until Monday, March 3, 2025 at 9:00am Contractors shall submit all questions in writing to Mark Dill via email or fax. Marks email address is mark.dill@swecivil.com. Fax number is 912-383-6895. All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Omega in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Omega. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. All work on the project must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days. For this reason, the Contractor shall pay the Owner liquidated damages in the amount of $1,500.00 per calendar day for failure or delay in completing the work within the allowable time provided. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. .
