No definite date for the rebid.** Installation of the 2025 Local Road Assistant Grant (LRA), Drainage and Patching improvements at eight locations in the City of Omega, Georgia. Proposals received after the designated time will not be considered. City of Omega may select a successful low bidder after evaluation of all bids. The Scope of Work Includes: Fiscal Year 2025 Local Road Assistance Grant (LRA) Drainage and Patching Improvements at eight locations All proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Bond in favor of the City of Omega in the amount of at least five percent (5%) of the lump sum bid for the complete work: such Bid Bond representing that the Bidder, if awarded a Contract, will promptly enter into a Contract and furnish Performance Bond and Payment Bonds as provided by the law and approved by the Attorney for the City of Omega. Performance Bond shall be equal to 100 Percent (100%) of the contract amount and Payment Bond shall be equal to 100 percent (100%) of the Contract amount. The Bid Bond shall be forfeited to City of Omega, Georgia as liquidated damages if the Bidder fails to execute the Contract and provide Performance and Payment Bonds within (10) days after being notified that he has been awarded the Contract. All work on the project must be completed within 90 consecutive calendar days. The Contractor shall be a current "Prequalified Contractor" with the Georgia Department of Transportation, Office of Contract Administration or shall be approved in writing prior to bid being opened by the City of Omega. A copy of the Contractor's "Notice of Contractor Qualification" as issued by the Georgia Department of Transportation or a copy of an approval letter from the City of Omega must be submitted with the bid. The Owner reserves the right to reject all bids and to waive informalities, and to accept any Bid which in its opinion may be in the best interest of the Owner. The Owner has the right to add or to delete from the Contract once it has been awarded. No bids shall be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after the opening of the bids.
