Sealed bids for the acquisition and installation of a 27.82kW DC/22.6 kW AC roof mount solar electric generating system consisting of 52 photovoltaic modules, 2 inverters (15.0-1kw and 7.6-1kW), railing and mounting hardware, AC disconnect, AC and DC wiring to be installed as a complete system on the Village of Dowell municipal garage and fire department located at 213 Union Avenue and 215 Union Avenue respectively. Said system shall include all connectors and AC lighting arrestors necessary to complete the project. Bid submissions must include an analysis of the roof carrying capacities of each of the respective roofs. Project must be completed no later than June 15, 2025. Attention is called to the requirement that the contractor bidding for the project must insure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of their race, color, religion, or national origin. Federal and/or state grant monies are involved in this project and other requirements including prevailing wage are applicable. The contract awardee will be selected from a combination of factors including lowest qualified bid, timeliness of ability to start and complete the project, demonstration of appropriate liability coverage, and demonstrated experience with similar installations.
