Goodrich Road Water Main Improvements Project The project includes the installation of approximately 1,600 feet of 12-inch water main (via open cut and directional bore) along with associated valves, hydrants, services, and other appurtenances. Proposals shall be properly and completely executed on the Bid Form and must be accompanied by an executed Indiana State Board of Accounts Form 96, confirmation that copies of Addenda were received (if issued), and satisfactory bid security. A certified or cashier's check payable to Valparaiso City Utilities or a bid bond in an amount equal to five (5) percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. All checks of unsuccessful bidders shall be returned to them by the City upon selection of successful bidder. The successful Bidder will be required to provide a Performance and Payment Bond each in the amount of one hundred (100) percent of the Contract amount. Bidders must be experienced in the construction of the type of facilities to be built under the Contract(s) for which a bid is submitted. In determining the lowest responsible bidder, the Owner will consider all possible bid combinations for the project. The Owner may also consider all other relevant facts mentioned in the Project Documents or which the Owner may legally consider. The Utility Board reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding, should the Board deem it to be in the public interest to do so.
