Town of Mentone (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project: Purchase Water Meters and Meter Reading System The Project includes the following Work: The project includes replacing approximately 400 water meters of various sizeswithin the Town. The work includes furnishing water meters, coordinating withtown staff to install and start the new meters, and data collection hardware andsoftware. Bids are requested for the following Contract: Purchase Water Meters and Meter Reading System. Bids will be received for a single prime Contract. Bidsshall be as shown in the Bid Form. Requests for bid packages can be emailed to mentoneclerk@rtcol.com or obtained at the Town of Mentone Clerk-Treasurer office. After the owner reviews and awards the contract, a "Notice to Proceed" will beissued to the contract vendor. Bids must be submitted on the contractor's bid for public work form 96 andenclosed in an envelope with a 10% bid bond clearly marked Town of Mentone onthe face of the sealed envelope. Town of Mentone, Town Council Members have the Right to Reject All Bids. All interested citizens are invited to attend. Should any citizens require specialprovisions, such as handicapped modifications or non-English translation personnel, the Town of Mentone will provide such provisions as long as the request ismade by February 15, 2025.
