Site work and paving for a road / highway in Dublin, California. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.

The Project is more specifically defined in the Contract Documents, but generally includes: furnishing all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, and services necessary to perform the construction and installation of the following: surface preparation, pavement failure repair, crack sealing, slurry seal, removal of pavement markings and striping, installation of new pavement markings and striping, traffic control, and other items not specifically mentioned herein, and doing all appurtenant work in place and ready for use, all as shown in the Specifications, Technical Provisions, and other Contract Documents entitled as shown above, now on file in the office of the Public Works Director, to which reference is hereby made for further particulars. The City's estimated total construction cost for this Project is between $3,600,000 and $3,800,000. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document. The Project is to be completed within a total maximum of Seventy (70) Working Days after: a) the date specified in the City's Notice to Proceed, or b) 25 Calendar days following the date of the Contractor's receipt of the Notice of Award letter, whichever comes first. The City will assess liquidated damages in the amount of $3,000 for each and every Calendar day of delay in finishing the work in excess of the contract time. The City of Dublin reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any defects or irregularity in bidding pursuant to applicable law. Pursuant to California Public Contract Code Section 20171, all bids must include bid security in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid Amount. Questions concerning the project or the bid package must be submitted by facsimile to 925-829-9248, ATTN: Robert Magno or by email at robert.magno@dublin.ca.gov, at least ten (10) Calendar days before the time specified for bid opening. Where appropriate, the City may respond to such questions by addenda transmitted to all plan holders.
