Site work, paving and outdoor lighting for a mixed-use development in Vancouver, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; for outdoor lighting for a road / highway; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Description of work: The parking lot and safety improvement project will create about 200 paved parking stalls, create a new access point to Northeast 192nd Avenue at the Northeast 13th Street intersection, Paved and striped parking lot with approximately 200 stalls. Addition of parking lot lighting and landscaping, and Construction of a stormwater drainage system. Primary bid items: Project Temporary Traffic Control; Clearing material, excavation and hauling; Cement concrete driveway, sidewalk and ramp; Storm infiltration trench; Storm sewer pipe; Crushed surfacing base and top coarse; HMA CL. 3/8 IN. PG 58H-22; Traffic signal system; Illumination system; Irrigation system; Landscaping. Each bid proposal must be accompanied by a bid deposit in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or proposal bond in an amount of at least five percent (5%) of the total bid. Should the successful bidder fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory contract bond, the bid deposit shall be forfeited to Clark County. Clark County, in accordance with the provisions of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 (78 Stat. 252, 42 U.S.C. 2000d to 2000d-4) and the Regulations, hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively ensure that any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantaged business enterprises will be afforded full and fair opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
