Furnishings for Riverside Aquatic Center 4498 NW High Drive Riverside, MO 64150 The Riverside Aquatic Center is currently under renovation with anticipated completion of May 16, 2025. It is expected that furnishings should be installed beginning May 12, 2025, by City staff. March 26, 2025 Notice to Proceed May 9, 2025 Final Day of Furniture Delivery The City reserves the right to: 1) accept or reject any proposal or any part thereof or any combination of proposal and to waive any or all formalities, technicalities, and irregularities, 2) disregard all nonconforming, non-responsive or conditional proposals, 3) negotiate changes to proposal with any respondent, 4) select any proposal that best meets its needs, 5) and request clarifications or additional information from any proposer. Purpose of the RFP This RFP is issued by the City. The purpose of this RFP is to issue a purchase order or enter into an agreement with the selected proposer for the provision of furnishings to include shipping, based on the following: 1) Riverside reserves the right to select one proposal in its entirety, adjust the quantity of any item, remove specific items from the final purchase, or select multiple vendors for different items. In all cases, unit prices as provided in the proposal shall remain applicable. 2) All disputes arising from this RFP or any agreement resulting from it shall be resolved under the laws of the State of Missouri and venue shall be in Platte County, Missouri. By submitting a proposal, the vendor waives any right to challenge the venue or governing law specified herein. 3) Neither party shall be liable for delays or failure to perform due to acts of God, natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, or other unforeseeable events beyond the reasonable control of the affected party. The City reserves the right to extend deadlines or terminate the agreement if such events materially impact project completion.
