Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Riverside, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

The proposed work includes construction of a 10' wide concrete trail and associated grading, driveway entrances, retaining walls, and other features. 1. Schedule and coordinate with City for inspections. Contractor will provide equipment for proof roll. Proofroll inspection shall be conducted by City staffor 3rd party hired by the city. Material testing will be conducted by 3rd party hired by the City. 2. Contractor shall coordinate with all utilities prior to the work starting, including contacting underground locator services. 3. Include all temporary utility fees and permits. 4. Include all surveying, layout and field engineering required for the performance ofthis work. 5. Provide digital photographs ofthe preconstruction, construction, and post construction site (see Article IV Progress ofWork / Submittals (F) for specifics) 6. Provide all weather provisions to meet the schedule set forth in the contract documents. 7. Provide clean up associated with the contractors work. Site is to remain free of debris during the construction process. 8. Provide all traffic control as required throughout the construction process. All bidders must be on MoDOTs Qualified Contractor List per Section 102.2 from the current version of the Missouri Standard Specifications for Highway Construction, including all revisions. The contractor questionnaire must be on file 7 days prior to bid opening. A certified or cashiers check or a bid bond in the amount of 5% shall be submitted with each proposal. The DBE Goal for this project is 4.0%. No 2nd tier subcontracting will be allowed on this project. The Owner, however, reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any informality in Bids received whenever such rejection or waiver is in his interest.
