The Town of Richlands is issuing this Request for Proposal (RFP) to vendors to furnish the service of snow removal including but not limited to CDL class dump trucks and drivers that have hopper type spreaders. We will not accept tailgate type spreaders these dump trucks must be equipped with snowplows. Cutting edges must be supplied by the contractor. Snow chains must be supplied by contractors if needed. This Request for Proposal (RFP) is also needed the service of snow removal including but not limited to small 4-wheel drive trucks equipped with hopper type spreaders and snowplows. Questions shall be directed to Jason Shepherd, Public Works Director, jshepherd@richlands-va.gov 276-964-2580. The Town expressly reserves the right to reject all proposals received. Furthermore, the Town expressly reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, and to waive any of the terms, conditions, and provisions contained in the RFP.
