The Town of Richlands, Virginia is requesting proposals from qualified and licensed contractors to provide complete general demolition services for residential structures that are located in The Town of Richlands such as 524 Locust Street. The objective is to select a contractor capable of safely, efficiently, and legally demolishing the structure in compliance with all applicable regulations. Contact Information Owner/Organization: The Town of Richlands Mailing Address: 200 Washington Square, Richlands, VA 24641 Phone: 276-964-2566 Email: townmanager@richlands-va.gov Scope of Work The selected contractor shall provide turnkey demolition services, including but not limited to: Obtaining all required permits and approvals Utility disconnect coordination (electric, gas, water, sewer) Hazardous material identification and abatement (if required, e.g., asbestos or leadbased paint) Complete demolition of existing structure(s) Removal and lawful disposal of all debris Site grading and leveling to a safe condition Erosion control as required Final site cleanup suitable for inspection and approval Optional / Alternate Pricing (if applicable): Foundation removal Basement backfill Tree or vegetation removal Concrete or driveway removal The Town of Richlands reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in the bidding process.
