Site work, new construction, remodeling and renovation of a medical facility in Brigham City, Utah. Completed plans call for the construction of a medical facility; for the remodel of a medical facility; for the renovation of a medical facility; and for site work for a medical facility.

Overview The Northwestern Band of the Shoshone Nation (NWBSN) is soliciting proposals from qualified contractors for the remodel and build-out of a medical clinic located in Brigham City, Utah. The selected contractor will be responsible for providing all necessary labor, materials, and equipment to complete the project in compliance with federal procurement regulations, building codes, and healthcare facility requirements. This project is partially funded through federal grants and is subject to federal procurement standards, including 2 CFR 200 (Uniform Guidance) and Indian Preference in accordance with 25 U.S.C. 47 (Indian Preference Act) where applicable. Scope of Work The project includes, but is not limited to: Interior Remodel & Build-Out: Construction of exam rooms, a procedure room, lab, break room, janitor's closet, and reception area. Installation of plumbing, including sinks for exam rooms, lab, procedure room, and janitor's closet. Electrical work, including lighting, outlets, and medical-grade wiring. HVAC system updates to meet healthcare facility standards. Flooring, wall finishes, and ceiling installation suitable for medical use. ADA Compliance & Safety Standards: Ensuring all modifications meet Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. Implementation of infection control measures per health- care regulations. Permitting & Inspections: Obtaining necessary permits and inspections as required by federal, state, and local regulations. Eligibility & Qualifications Licensed general contractors with experience in healthcare facility construction. Knowledge of federal procurement guidelines and Davis-Bacon wage requirements. Compliance with OSHA safety standards. Ability to complete the project within the proposed timeline. Proposal Submission Requirements Interested contractors must submit a complete proposal including: Company information, including past experience with similar projects. Detailed project timeline and work plan. Cost proposal, including labor, materials, and subcontractor costs. Proof of insurance, bonding, and relevant licenses Indian Preference certification (if applicable). Selection Criteria Proposals will be evaluated based on: Experience with medical facility remodels (30%) Compliance with federal procurement regulations (20%) Proposed timeline and project management approach (20%) Cost-effectiveness and detailed budget breakdown (20%) Indian Preference eligibility (10%) NWBSN reserves the right to accept or reject any or all proposals. This project is subject to federal, state, and local regulations.
