County(S): Washoe The Department is seeking to hire one firm to serve as the Progressive Design-Build (PDB) Program/Project Manager for qualified management and successful delivery of all elements of the Interstate 80 (I-80) East Widening Project in Washoe County. Continued growth and development in northern Nevada has created significant congestion and traffic related issues on roadways throughout the region. Successful completion of this Project will improve traffic operations and address safety concerns along a thirteen-mile corridor of I-80 east of Sparks. The successful proposing firm will be responsible for providing professional services including, but not limited to engineering and technical review of Project plans, PDB procurement and development of Project specific Design-Build (DB) Contract documents, National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) re-evaluations, right-of-way services, acquisitions and utility relocations, Union Pacific Railroad (UPRR) coordination, public and stakeholder outreach and engagement, and construction and/or Alternative Delivery Construction support services.
