The work will consist of the Contractor milling approximately 142780 s.y. installing approximately 7850 ton of level counsel1800 tons of 1 -J4" wearing course (9.5 mm PG 64-22 0.0 to 0.3 million ESAL's SRL-Mand 2 days of milling machine rental. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). Notice is hereby given that the Contractors are subject to provisions of the PA Prevailing Wage Act. Each Proposal shall be accompanied with a certified check or Bidders Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal in favor of Hempfield Township. Hempfield Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening. The Work to be done under the Contract, as shown on the Plans and Specifications, shall include the furnishing and complete installation of all Materials and any other necessary Work required for proper completion, operation and use of the facilities. Ail the equipment, Materials and labor that may be necessary to complete the Work and place it in satisfactory operation, implied or intended in the Plans and Specifications, shall be furnished and/or installed by Contractor without extra cost to the Owner. The titles or headings of the various divisions, sections, paragraphs, subparagraphs or of Shop Drawings, and the Table of Contents and the indexes, as used in any of the Contract Documents are for convenience of reference only and are not intended to limit and shall not be construed as in any way limiting the application of the text.
