The work will consist of the Contractor applying an asphalt rejuvenating agent for in-depth sealing of asphaltic concrete surfaces. There is approximately 73540 s.y. of treatment on various roads located within Hempfield Township Westmoreland County. All contractors must adhere to Act 127 of 2012 (Public Works Employment Verification Act). Notice is hereby given that the Contractors are not subject to provisions of the PA Prevailing WageAct since this is considered a maintenance project. Each Proposal shall be accompanied with a certified check or Bidders Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the proposal in favor of Hempfield Township. Hempfield Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informality in bids received. No bidder may withdraw his bid within sixty (60) days after the actual date of the opening. The Work to be done under the Contract, as shown on the Plans and Specifications, shall include the furnishing and complete installation of all Materials and any other necessary Work required for proper completion, operation and use of the facilities. All the equipment, Materials and labor that may be necessary to complete the Work and place it in satisfactory operation, implied or intended in the Plans and Specifications, shall be furnished and/or installed by Contractor without extra cost to the Owner. Any person, partnership, firm, corporation, limited liability company, or other business entity submitting a bid for the Work. c.
