Purchase of (1) Potable Deep Well Submersible Pump and Pipe Replacement Response Types Line Items Type of Award Lump Sum Bid Valid 180 days Online Q&A Yes Q&A Deadline 03/04/2025 10:00 AM (PST) The City of Pomona Water Resources Department is seeking informal bids from qualified companies for the purchase of a Potable Deep Well submersible motor with S/O cord, pump bowls, and column pipe. This pump is one of four pumps which supply potable water to reservoir tanks. Required Qualifications and Experience: A qualified vendor of Deep Well pump parts and service. Vendor must have at least 10 years' experience in Deep Well Pumps. Do Not Register for This Solicitation Through a Third Party Other Than online. Bidders Must Be Listed on the City of Pomona's "Prospective Bidders List" on online in Order to Participate in This Bid. If Bidders Fail to Register With online Prior to Submitting a Response, the City Shall Immediately Reject Any Response You Submit in Reference to This Solicitation. Bidders must be listed on the city of Pomona's "prospective bidders list" on online in order to participate in this bid. If bidders fail to register with online prior to submitting a response, the city shall immediately reject any response you submit in reference to this solicitation. Do Not Use the City's Seal or Logo. Doing So is in Violation of the City's Code and May Result in Immediate Disqualification of the Submittal. Section 2-5(3)a of the Pomona City Code prohibits the use of the City's Seal or Logo, or any reproduction thereof, for any purpose other than for official business of the city, its council, officers or departments. A City of Pomona Business License is required, as well as, valid general liability and vehicle insurance, when (and if) delivering within City limits. RESERVATION OF RIGHTS AND REJECTION OF BIDS This solicitation does not commit the City to award a contract. The City reserves the right at its sole discretion to: 1. Reject responses received after the due date and time specified. 2. Cancel the entire solicitation at any time time, and re-advertise when determined to be in the City's best interest. 3. Accept or reject any and all submittals, waive any minor errors, informalities, and procedures without penalty to the extent permitted by law. 4. Be the final judge as to which response is the most qualified. 5. Consider any of the following as non-responsive and subject to rejection for this solicitation: a. Responses from Respondent that are not registered as a prospective bidder in online for the City of Pomona for this specific solicitation; b. Responses containing items not specified; c. Responses containing incorrect items; d. Responses that do not respond to items in the manner specified; e. Responses received by in person, telephone, email or facsimile; f. Responses that fail to specifically provide the information requested; and g. Responses otherwise not compliant with the instructions and requirements.
