South Side Development Phase 1 DESCRIPTION: The South Side Development Phase 1 project consists of two bid schedules: Base Bid (Schedule I): The major components of the Base Bid portion of the project include: o New airfield pavements south of Runway 9-27 including new Taxiway B3 connector and new parking apron (approx. 5,769 Tons). o Airfield lighting and signage along new Taxiway B3 connector and apron taxilane, and apron reflectors. o New airfield pavement markings (Approx. 2,612 SF). o Significant earthwork (cut and fill), taxiway/taxilane edge drains, and site storm drainage. o Riprap and gabion baskets along the north apron edge Taxilane B. o Relocation of portions of the existing gravel airport service road and perimeter fence. o Salvage and Relocation of the existing Primary Wind Cone and Segmented Circle. Additive Alternate No. 1 (Schedule II): The major components of the Additive Alternate No. 1 includes rough-grading the balance of the ultimate apron site build-out, additional relocation of the service road to the south side of the ultimate project area, a portion of the ultimate buildout storm drainage infrastructure under the relocated service road, and extension of the Taxilane B edge drain to its ultimate point of discharge. ***Prebid notes : The Pre-Bid Meeting and Conference Call can also be attended in person at the Telluride Regional Airport Administration Building, located at 1500 Last Dollar Road, Telluride, CO 81435.
