Kewaunee County Highway Department is requesting proposals for milling and pulverizing reclamation of existing pavement from qualified companies. Locations are determined throughout Kewaunee County during the 2025 Construction Season. Scope of Work: The scope of work includes the following: 1. Normal pulverizing depth is 8" to 12". However, some locations may be thicker. Contractor may also provide a price for machine operation per hour. 2. Provide a price for pavement milling (1-3" depth) for county projects. 3. Contractor responsible for milling or pulverizing of pavement only. The Kewaunee Highway Department will provide signing, hauling, grading, watering, and rolling of pulverized material. 4. All work zone safety measures for the contractor's equipment are the responsibility of the contractor. 5. Please provide a square yard price for milling and pulverizing. Actual receipt by said time is required and deposit in the mail is insufficient. The envelope containing the sealed bid shall bear the name and address of the interested company and the notation "Milling & Pulverizing Bid for Kewaunee County Highway Department" on the outside of the envelope. Reservations: Kewaunee County reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any and all proposals, to waive any informalities, and to accept the bids determined to be in the best interest of the County. This invitation may. be canceled if determined to be in the best interest of the County.
