Kewaunee County Highway Department is requesting proposals for asphalt oil from qualified companies. Locations are determined throughout Kewaunee County during the 2025 Construction Season Scope of Work: The scope of work includes the following: 1. The Highway Department may decide to split the seasonal quantity of PG 58-28 asphalt oil between vendors. The majority of the order will be provided by the lowest responsible bidder. However, if the higher bidder(s) meet the low bidder's price, some loads may be ordered from those vendors. 2. The Highway Department shall not pay charges for demurrage or returned loads. 3. All material quoted above shall meet. Wisconsin Department of Transportation specifications. 4. All product prices shall be firm for the 2025 Construction Season. 5. Along with your proposal letter, please submit your information on the Summary Sheet. The envelope containing the sealed bid shall bear the name and address of the interested company and the notation "Asphalt Oil Bid for Kewaunee County Highway Department" on the outside of the envelope. Reservations: Kewaunee County reserves the right to reject, in whole or in part, any and all proposals, to waive any informalities, and accept the bids determined to be in the best interest of the County. This invitation may be canceled if determined to be in the best interest of the County.
