This project is in conjunction with the State of Wisconsin Local Roads Improvement Program (LRIP). All work to be completed in a timely matter during the 2025 calendar year, in a matter not to interfere with with work being done on nearby County Highway C and with minimal disruption to neighboring businesses needing access to adjacent properties. All materials must be of proper quality. and specifications. All companies submitting a bid, must carry proper insurance for this type of work, listing the Town of West Kewaunee as additional insured for the entirety of the project. Any further questions may also be directed to Dan Kassner, Town of West Kewaunee at Chairman westkewauneechairman@gmail.com The full section of Ryan Radio Road to be completed is approximately 6,706 linear feet of road space in totalstarting on the east end at the corner intersecting with County Highway B and traveling west slightly past a curve A 3 gravel base will be added to the entire road base along with proper watering, grading and compacting (the existing pavement has already been removed in prior years) The first 3,330 feet of road (past the most western Pagel driveway) will consist of paving 4 inches of asphalt 26 feet wide, in two lifts. The remaining 3,376 feet of road will consist of paving 3 inches of asphalt, 22 feet wide, in one lift. This section will require an additional 1" gravel base (total of 4" gravel base) prior to paving. o A 2-foot gravel shoulder will be added on both sides of Ryan Radio Road after the completion of asphalt paving.
